The electrice tabs on the new part are parallel to the valve instead of perpendicular, therefore, the common electric jumper wire is not long enough to make the connection. Can the solenoid tabs be "re-oriented"?

We came home tonight and found our washer was running over with water but it wasn't running. I think its the mixing valve. We wasn't using it at the time.

Hi: My washer fills on "cold" and "warm" settings fine, but barely fills at all on "hot". Water supply pressure for both hot and cold is good, screens are clean and in good shape, power good to both solenoids, I assume I need a new mixing valve??

Replacement mixing valve ap4248017 does not fit the wiring because the plugs for power are facing the wrong way. I'm going to spice an extra piece of wire in to make it work but doesn't work as a direct replacement. Have any other suggestions?

Hello, my name is Kevin. I would like to start by thanking you for this service that you are providing. My washing machine will not fill. When I try to start a cycle there is actually a humming noise that comes from the mixing valve area. I have tested the electrical connector closest to the back of the machine after trying to start a cycle and do have power. So my question is. Am I testing this correctly and is there anything else that I should do to verify that this part is in fact not working? Thank-You

Part Number: AP4248017 Mixing Valve. Can you rotate the electrical plug to better fit my current wiring? I have seen some valves that can? Thanks!
