The top broiler will fire up but when I push the bake button the oven will not ignite.
Answer Hello Fred. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Does this have the natural gas and lp orifices?
Answer Hello Ben! Yes, the valve/regulator assembly kit 12002227 has both LP and NG orifices. Thanks!
Hello, Is the gas valve/regulator part number AP4008707 a replacement for natural gas? It is not a propane conversion valve correct? Thank You
Answer Hello Kappy. It is a LP conversion kit, but the valve is set for natural, and can be adjusted for LP. If you install it like it is, then it will work for natural gas. Hope this helps.
