Hi, The part attached to the washer where the door male part goes into is broken. What do I buy to fix this broken lock part? Thanks
Answer Laura, The part you'll need is the latch/switch assembly 8182634, The latch is located on the inside of the front panel. You will need to remove the top panel, control panel, remove the boot from the door opening, then remove the screws holding the panel at the top bracket and lower cabinet, then disconnect the wiring from the latch assembly, and remove the front panel.
The plastic part that the lock on the door goes into on the washer is broken, do you have that part?
