My whirlpool washer lid switch screws loosened and came away from the machine. Do I need to replace the whole switch kit or can is there a mount to reattach it. I can manually push the switch and the washer will spin. But because it isn't attached to the frame of washer, closing the lid won't make it connect to spin out.

My Whirlpool washer will fill water and agitate to wash clothes, however it will not drain or spin to move to the rinse cycle. I had to take the clothes out of the machine and now my machine is just filled with water until I drain it out. Do I have to change the lid switch? Thank you
