I've changed the coils, thermal fuse, and the internal bias thermister on this model so far. It still lights up... runs for a minute or two and then the gas shuts off. What next? I have a thermst-fix here also new but haven't changed it yet. Would that possibly be the cause?
Answer Chuck, if your term "thermst-fix" means the hi limit thermostat W10423382 , it could be the issue. if you had an exhaust vent issue, it could be "weak" and cycling early. But, then it should reset and the ignition sequence should continue. But that doesn't sound like the issue. You may need to start checking for a loose wire connection, or loss of power or neutral to the gas valve, or timer. We're going to need a bit more information than what you've supplied so far in order to assist you properly. Thanks
