Bottom Rack of Dishwasher tines are rusty & breaking off. What is the right replacement rack & also cannot see diagram cleary on computer, do tines/dividers come with rack?

My dishwasher model is MDB7100AWB. The bottom rack tines are rusting and breaking off. Is this the appropriate replacement rack? If so, are any additional parts necessary? The rollers and silverware basket are fine. Thank you.

Answer Hi Donald! Yes this is coming up as the substitution replacement for your model. Per Factory This Sub Only Has Six Wheels instead of eight, Dimensions Are 5.963" H X 20.46"w X 22.39" L. Thanks!

The moveable tines in the lower dishrack broke and we bought replacement parts (#5, #9 & #10). It is not intuitive how to re-install these items. Are there any instructions that would be of assistance? Thanks

Answer Peter, On the tine clip there is one side that is open and does not latch. This will slide over the wire on the rack and then the other side of it will clip into place. The tines go in the smaller openings and just clip in. There are no instructions for installing.

I'm looking to replace the upper & lower racks of my dishwasher. It is a fabulous 1980 work horse. Wondering if the racks come with all the parts or if the rollers & other pieces are sold separately? So appreciate it!!

Answer Tanya, the upper rack is part number WD28X303. Unfortunately, this item has been discontinued and is no longer available with our company. The lower rack is part number WD28X304. The lower rack does not include the rollers, part number WD12X5026. Thanks.

Hello, also here is serial number if needed: 15918826YU I have this part W10139223 and will be ok with the changes however it is a little smaller and kind of slips side to sit is there a way I could widen the wheel base a little so it will not slip, it is just barely but makes it unsteady.

I just received the replacement basket, thanks for the fast delivery. However, does the silverware basket now go in the back instead of the front? That seems to be the only way this part is compatible with this model.

Answer Hello Dave, It really doesn't matter where the silverware basket is for the unit to operate satisfactorily. My wife puts ours in a different spot almost every load, depending on what other items she has put in it and where is left for the basket to fit. As long as nothing blocks the spray of water, the unit will operate normally.

I need the bottom rack. Does it include all that the original rack would have come with for this Maytag? Another question: What color is it? If it is not white, how much is it for the top rack , which I believe is part number W10139225. I need for both racks to match in color. Right now I have white. If the racks are gray in color, I would also need the silverware basket to match. How much would that be?

Answer Carol, The lower rack W10139223 does come with the rollers. The shelf rack is no longer used on this rack and only has 6 wheels instead of 8. It does appear to be white in color.
