"I just ask Q... about a cooktop module (part# AP4242040) to insert into my RC8900XABO cooktop. My original module has a 4 blade connector. You said I can NOT rewire anything to make the 3 blade module work... does that mean I should not have purchased the AP4242040 module from your parst department??

I just purchased a cooktop module (part# AP4242040) to insert into my RC8900XABO cooktop. My original module has a 4 blade connector. I understand the new one I ordered uses only 3 blades of the connector (4th not used). Will the 3 blade module work in the older cooktop or will I be required to rewire something? If so I need instructions on the rewire and wiring diagram. I also purchased a AP4292626 replacement terminal block in case I need it.

I have an old jenn Air model #c221 which holds a A100 cartridge. Will this model fit. All four burners went out yesterday. Doesn't seem to be the elements (fairly new). Maybe the terminal block?
