What is the part # for the motor pulley for this washer? Can I just buy the pulley. How do I remove the old pulley from the shaft? Thanking You In Advance BOB
Bob for Model Number pav2200aww
Answer Hello Bob. 21001108 is the pulley. You will need to take a pair of channel lock pliers and pull it off. If it will not come off and has melted to the motor shaft, you will need to use a hammer and chisel and cut it off. Be careful not to damage the motor shaft.
My washer does not come up to full speed in the spin cycle. I replaced the thrust bearing and had little to no change. Is the motor two speed? If so, might the motor be bad and not going into high speed. Please advise.

Answer Oilheatplus,
You will want to check the drain for being clogged or the bearings starting to go out. If this occurs then the unit will not drain fast enough to allow the motor to pull up to full spin. The drain should pump out all water within 90 seconds.

Why is my motor way too noisy when it's in operation. What would make it noisy? When you buy the motor assembly, is the pully was already included?

Answer Hello Generartor2591,
It may be something other than the motor that is making noise. You could take the belt off motor to see if it still makes the noise. Could be a bad thrust bearing or something in the pump or bearings on pump making noise. The pulley does come with the new motor.
Washer started to squel and just stopped.
Joe for Model Number mav6458aww
Answer Hello Joe,
What you would want to do is to tilt unit back and pull belt off. Check the belt for wear and check water pump for damage. See if water pump will turn by hand. If it does not then you would want to replace pump 35-6780. Turn the thrust bearing and see if it lifts the brake. If it does not then you would want to replace the thrust bearing 12002213. Keep in mind that you have to turn pump thrust bearing clockwise to get it to raise the brake.
