I have a whirlpool with motor part # AP2907254 and wire harness part #AP3020157. I took it apart and was wondering how to bench test the motor? My problem is either in the motor or gearcase.

My washing machine stopped mid cycle with a burning smell, I took the cabinet off and the motor was very hot, the next day I took everything apart everything seemed fine so I put it all back together and now it runs fine, but the motor still gets very warm to the touch ! Is that normal??

Hi, my unit seems to run fine in spin and drain but in agitate it's drawing enough amps to literally dim the lights in the house each time the motor moves the agitator. The agitator does move freely, as does the motor and clutch... At least by hand. I'm thinking clutch but what do I know!? Got ideas? Seen this before? Thanks.

How can I TEST the motor when it's pulled out of the washer? I'm guessing I need to jumper the water level switch, and if in Spin Cycle, also the lid switch. Anything else I need to do? I'm trying to determine what is causing this washer to all of a sudden to not Spin. I've been told everything from "transmission" to "motor". Neither is an acceptable cost effective solution, and certainly don't want to throw out that kind of money ... just in finding out what is wrong with the washer's spin cycle.

My washer agitates, but will not drain. I can manipulate the dial to "trick" it to drain when using alternative rinse cycles or additional spins. I've replaced the timer, the coupler, and the water pump. I did not detect any blockages in hoses when I preformed the previous activities. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I replaced the coupler drive and when I removed the motor the two wires on the motor start capacitor came off and I don't know which one goes where. One I guess is the power which comes from the panel and the other comes from the plastic connector from the motor and they are both the same color and size. I'm thinking it does not matter which connection on the capacitor they hook up to but I don't want to take a chance. Can you please help here? Keith

Taking out my motor and transmission, I crack the terminal block on the motor. The motor part number is 3352287. Can I buy just the terminal block without buying the whole motor? Leif P.S Thanks for the YouTube video. It was great and really helped me out. For that, I would like to buy the parts from you.
