A few weeks ago I removed the micro from the cabinet temporarily (did not do anything to micro) and when I put it back in the cabinet the turntable would not work. I tried to slide the roller wheel (8205151) and glass tray coupler off the shaft but feared I would break it so did not pull very hard. After messing with it I turned the micro on and the turntable turned a few degrees and stopped. Could never repeat this so I am back to where I started: turntable does not turn. Is the motor assembly a gear motor and maybe the gear box is messed up? Or maybe the motor itself is going bad (it "tried" to turn)? I have not attempted to remove the bottom cover to look at the motor. I am thinking maybe I'll just order a new motor. Any thoughts?

My microwave did not have the correct turn table (glass) inside when I purchased my home last year and so it would not turn. I have replaced it with part#8205150 which is definately the correct turn table. It still will not turn - I am looking at the turn table support, part#8205151 - this is the part inside my microwave. On this part where it goes inside it's respective place inside the microwave - it just goes in place but I feel like it should be sort of "plugging" into place. I just put it into the hole and the portion that touches my turn table glass has a tiny - tiny finger that touchesthe glass - the rollers are capable of rolling as now I can push the turn table 'round and 'round but it will not turn by itself. What could be the problem? Could it be that what ever this turn table support is supposed to be connecting with when placed inside - it is not connecting? I will lokk forward to your help and I do appreciate it. Thank You
