Due to the shaft being angled, it's rotating unevenly and bumping into the rack. How do I resolve this?
You would want to replace the mount assembly for the upper spray arm to correct the spray arm from hitting the rack.
i have a part#8268844 its been replaced withpt.#8539324 this part does not work on this dishwasher upper sprayarm hits bottom of upper dishrack.the nipple on mounted tier needs to be longer. how can i solve this problem?also the nipple has to be able to accept screw pt.#3400031 which probably needs to be longer also. thanks, bill sweeney
Answer Bill, We believe you have inadvertently installed the new spray arm mount incorrectly. "- PLEASE NOTE: Shaft is angled to match the bottom side of rack and mounts directly to the rack. On older design models part number 8268812 will no longer be used. " Try removing the old top spray arm mount, and attach the new part directly to the rack tines. Thanks and Good Luck
recently order part 14 for a dish washer, ihave part 15,upon receiving my order, part 15 doesnt attach to to 14 ,it looks like 14 is a new part. can i use dishwasher without it thanks
Answer Patrick, Yes, you can use the the upper mount assembly 8539324 without the additional upper mount 8268812 " - PLEASE NOTE: Shaft is angled to match the bottom side of rack and mounts directly to the rack. On older design models part number AP3044177 will no longer be used." You'll be fine without it. Thanks and Good Luck.
Do you need parts 2 & 17 to attach this?
Answer Hello Puzzled. Yes, if the mount 8268812 and screw W10349488 is not already in the dishwasher. Hope this helps.
Does this come with parts 5, 17, and 2?
Answer Hello! No, the mount assembly part number 8539324 is the mount only. It does not include any other parts. Thanks!
