My bearing went out and caused some internal damage to my washer. I had the service man come to fix. I do not remember what parts he replaced but I remember 2 big boxes and 1 small box of parts. When he left I inspected the washer an noticed the Front Tub Outer is worn through on the edge in some places. Is it ok to operate the washer like this? It is not leaking water. Thank you

My front load Whirlpool duet ht, it leaks. It looks to be leaking from underneath close to the front. I know that the rubber seal it was out. Kids doing laundry and packed it full and when the pulled out the cloths/blankets. there was a wire that was out and it held the grey seal in and ever since I has been leaking. Do I need a new seal? and How much would one be?

My front loader washer started making a banging noise. My husband took it apart and found that the plastic front tub assembly was all chewed up and the filings were all in the pump assembly. He wants to replace the front tub assembly but I am concerned as to what caused it to happen. Did something else go bad causing the tub to wear apart like that?

I started noticing water on my floor and inside the drawer of the washing machine stand. It is not a lot of water, but it is some. Does not look like the hoses are damages in the back and the water is NOT coming from the front door. It is a front loader from whirlpool and is about 10 years old. The debate is whether it is worth fixing or if I should just move to to buying a new machine since it is 10 years old- depending on what it is and if it is pricey to fix. My neighbor said it may be some sort of seal that could be wearing away inside?

I have been hearing a sqeaking noise in my washer a few weeks ago . Just a couple of days ago i did some towels and it sounded like a loud banging noise it was rubbing up against the drum. I was reading some other questions that we asked and Iwas thinkingit may be the worn bearing? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You, Tonya

My 6 year old front load washer made some horrible noises the other night before stopping its cycle, and when I checked it, the drum will not spin. When I tried to see why, I could tell the drum is no longer aligned, and I couldn't pop it back into place. What is the most common reason this would happen, and how serious could it be? The washer will not work at all, since the drum cannot spin. It is not leaking water.

There is a banging noise and squeeking wash and spin cycle. I have small chips of plastic in the wash. When I manually rotate the stainless basket, it is very smooth. Note it runs very nicely if I put it in the delicate mode with no load in the the tub. What could be the problem? shocks gone bad?
