My element measures 15 1/2" width and 15" length. Will the AP3095829 work in my oven?

Answer Gary, the oven bake element 326791 is 15" in width x 15 5/8" in length. We will need your appliance model number to verify if this oven bake element will work in your appliance. Thanks!
Do I need other parts to replace element? Oven is old and was shooting sparks out of element. Also need instructions how to put it in.

Answer Hello Beth! The oven bake elemtn is part number 326791. It is normal for the element to spark when shorting out. You will need to unplug the range. Remove the oven racks. In the back of the electric range, there are two screws that hold on a bake element. Remove these two screws and gently pull the element towards the door opening. Remove the wires from the bake element one at a time. You may need to use long nosed pliers to remove the wires. Be careful that the wiring doesn't fall back through the back of the oven. Once the wires have been removed, discard the old element and replace it with the new one. Once the new element is installed, plug the unit back in and test. Hope this information helps!
