My maytag oven bake element popped, flashed, and broke during operation I do not see any that look like the one in my oven on your display. Did it just wear out and break, is it saft to replace ? Is it easy to replace ? Thanks B.T.

Oven, broiler, self clean, will not heat at all. Self clean functions work including door lock and cycle start on control panel. Everything on the control panel functions properly. Stove top elements and controls work fine. No heat anywhere else.

The Maytag oven baking element came today. It was listed on your site as needing part AP4101290. It seems to have an additional middle medal piece across from one side of the element to the other.

My 6 year old oven heats up very, very slowly. The currant heating element is covered with a black, crusty debris & I think this is the reason why this happens. Can a novice replace this heating element?
