Thank you for the answer on the screws. The screws fit through the bracket but fall out of the top; the oven ceiling/top holes are bigger than the holes in the bracket. The oven is 12 yrs old; I don't see how they held up this long. How do I secure the screws into the oven ceiling/top to hold the broiler hold bracket?

Answer B Ruffle, If the holes for the screws have opened larger than the screw then the only way to affix the broil element will be to use a larger screw that will fit into the hole.

I have a Maytag free-standing double oven range. A screw that holds the bracket on the broiler element fell out. I can no longer get it to stay up; it wont stay when I try to screw it in. Where can I get new screws to hold the bracket up? Or how can I make it stay up?

Answer B Ruffle, You'll need to remove the screws and bracket, carefully. Check the screw holes in the top of the oven liner for damage and corrosion, if all's OK take the screws down to the local hardware store or home improvement center and purchase a couple of self tapping sheet metal screws one(1) size larger than the original screws. Take your time inserting and tightenning the screws, you don't want to damage or chip the porcelain liner.

I need a new broiler unit for the upper oven of my Maytag. I see 2 different ones for the same model and I'm not sure which is the correct one. Can you clarify for me? Thanks.

I need to replace the broiler element. How do I take the push pin out of the old element out of the wiring connector. I have opened the back where it is much easier to do. But the connectot seems to be stuck to the push-pin. Any ideas/suggestion? I am afraid I may break the wire or the connector that is soldered to the wire. The two wires that feed current into the broiler element. ANy ideas?

Answer Hello A. The terminals for the broil element W10201551 should pull off the spades of the element. You may need to use needle nose pliers to remove the terminals. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Jan! It would depend on where you are measuring the element at. On our web site there is a picture of item W10201551. Each square on the grid measures 1". You can use the grid to help determine the size. Thanks.
