Can you advise how the trim pieces fit over the glass? When I try to put them on the glass will not go behind the trim.
Answer Hi! The glass will go behind the top and bottom trims but will rest on the top of the side trim. Thanks!

Will trim kit 8184859 fit my oven door?
Yes, the trim kit 8184858 will work for your unit.
I have ordered this part before Door Trim Kit and when I tried to install it, it broke, I would like to know if it is the right kit for my range model. Hate to spend money twice on same item.
Answer Hello Diana! No, the trim kit is not recommended for your model. The parts are only available separately. The bottom trim is part number 8523177, the right side trim is part number W10761014 and the left side trim is part number 8523171. Thanks.
Hi. Recently I ordered the trim-door part 8184858. The kit came with 2 side trim pieces and a bottom piece (that holds the glass) but it actually looks like 2 bottom pieces. Do I use both together? When I do, my original screws aren't long enough. I understand the trim not being screwed into that, but I just can't figure out the bottom piece or pieces. Please help.
Answer Hi. Color: Black. For white order 8184859. For bisque order 8184860. For almond order 8184860. Kit includes two side pieces and one bottom piece. NOTE: This part has been redesigned by the manufacturer. The lower screws are no longer used and the side trim now locks into the lower trim with the dimples on the lower end of the side trim. On one bottom piece there are more trim screw hole's to use depending on your model. Thank You.
I ordered the door trim kit #APs317513 and I'm having the hardest time trying to put these new pieces in there place. HELP!
Answer Hello Chantale. The hard part of this is the sides. They do not go over thew glass. The side pieces are spacers which hold the glass against the front of the top and bottom parts. Get the bottom ans sides in place and put the top on last. By the way, this is much easier if the door is removed from the unit and you assemble the door on towels on the floor. I sure hope this helps and have a great day!
