My current white metal door trim bottom piece is rusting due to water running down the door and sitting in the groove between the glass door and the metal bottom piece. My family washes their hands and then dries with the towel that hangs on the oven handle. Is there a recommended caulk or sealant that I can use where the glass meets the bottom trim piece that will keep this from happening without discoloring?
Answer Hi Ron. Oven door trim kit part # 8184859. - Color: White. For black order AP3176314. For bisque order AP3176315. For almond order AP3177268. Kit includes two side pieces and one bottom piece. NOTE: This part has been redesigned by the manufacturer. The lower screws are no longer used and the side trim now locks into the lower trim with the dimples on the lower end of the side trim. You can use a 100% clear silicone to seal as you asked. Part # TJ441044. Thank You.
Do you carry the front glass door to the oven? Mine fell off and broke. I have the handle.

Is this the right door kit for my White-Worldpool gold super capacity 465 stove m# GR396LXGQ-0 SER# RJ0205587?
Answer Hello Jac! Yes, the oven door trim kit part number 8184859 is the correct replacement kit for your Whirlpool Range model GR396LXGQ0. Thanks!
We are on our third door trim kit for this oven. The door trim kit fits together nicely, but it does not allow room for the glass to be put back on. PLEASE HELP!!
Answer Kary, You do have the oven door off the range and on a coverred table, and you are doing this in a 4 step process, insert the glass into the slot in the bottom of the top door trim/handle trim, insert one side trim in until flush with the door trim, then repeat for the other side, then insert and attach the lower trim to the bottom of the door liner with the 2 scews, the 2 end screws have been eliminated and there are plasic studs that insert into the openings on each end of the bottom trim panel, Hope this was helpful, Thanks
