Peter for Model Number KSRA25ILSS13
Answer Hello Peter, The overload relay is what you would want to replace on the refrigerator. The relay should not omit an electrical odor and will eventually fail.
Joseph S for Model Number ED5SHAXMT00
Answer Hello Joseph, To check the start relay you would take relay 2262185 off and shake it. If it has a distinctive rattle to it then it is defective and needs to be replaced. If it does not have a rattle to it then the compressor W10309994 is faulty.
Cboyd for Model Number ED25TWXDW00
Answer Hello Cboyd. If the unit is running, and the compressor is running, but the unit is not cooling, you may have an issue with the sealed system on the unit.
Scott B. for Model Number GS6SHEXNB00
Answer Hello Scott. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the relay/overload 819100 is the issue with the compressor not starting. Hope this helps.
