How do I replace the door friction pads? (both of them have broken so the door will not stay in a partly open position) Can I just loosen the scews that are into the counter and slide the dishwasher out to get at the area? Would I be damaging any electrical or water connections if I do that?

I have read the questions and answers about the rubber piece 8268961 / PS731965. They were of of great help! I too have found both of them torn and on the floor and did not know where they belonged. I too was concerned with the door not staying down when fully opened but, that was answered in one of the questions. They lasted only 2 years before they were torn. to avoid tearing up a custom kitchen, do they really need to be replaced? thank you for your time.
