Ref part number AP4260737 on the diagrams it shows this comes with circuit board and wiring harness. So all I have to do is unplug old harness and remove old touch pad and plug new one in?
Answer Hello Bobby! No, part number W10099593 is the control panel only. It does not include the electronic control or the wiring harness. The diagram image is to give you a brief idea of the location of the part. The images of the control panel is what you will receive. Thanks.
My washer electronic panel switch outer button broke . Is this a common problem and what is the best fix?
If it is the keypads that have broken on the control panel then the Control panel W10099593 would need to be replaced. If the stem of the control knob broken off for the settings then this would be a bad user interface and would need to be replaced.
Our washer machine is coming up with the F20 code repeatedly. We've checked and it doesn't appear to be plugged. But it will do a full cycle if I run the hot water. Would it be the control panel?
If you have already checked the water valve screens then you will want to test for power at the water valve. If there is power then you will want to replace the water valve if not power then replace the control board.
Do you just sell the sticker part for the control panel that labels the settings?
Answer Lizzard, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer an overlay with writing separate from the panel W10099593. Sorry about that!
I need to get the Control Panel (AP4260737 or 8571962 or AP4260737 off the washer so I can put a new one on. How do I do that?
Answer Hello Robert. 1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washer.
3. Remove the three T-20 hex-head Torx
screws from the top cover of the washer.
4. Pull back on the cover and release the
tabs in the console from the slots in the
cover, then lift the cover off the unit. 5. To remove the console:
a) Pull out and disconnect cable connector
UI8 from the central control unit.
b) Remove the cable wires from the two
central control unit clips. c) Pull the detergent dispenser drawer
out as far as it will go, then press down
on the release tab, and remove the
drawer from the unit. d) Remove the two screws at the recessed
hole and bottom of the console. e) Lift the top edge of the console and
unhook it from the holder clips. f) Press the locking tab on the right rear
side of the console inward, and remove
the console. 6. To remove the touchpad/LED assembly:
a) Pull the selector knob off the switch
b) Press the seven console locking tabs,
and unsnap the touchpad/LED assembly,
then lift the assembly from the
console and remove it.
will this fix an issue that i have while pressing the power button nothing happens unplug for an hour and plug back in nothing no suonds no nothing
Answer ED, Probably not, this is the control panel, a cosmetic part. You need to make sure you have 120 VAC at the outlet, through the line filter and into the CCU. Then consider the CCU and the U/I W10525351 and 8571903 if the unit is "dead" and can't be programmed. We'll be sending you some service information to help you out. Good Luck and Thanks
