My side by side 3 year old refer. has been getting ice build up every 2 weeks and I have to defrost the frezzer to get ice build up off fan so it works, the fan to work. lately the refer side is not getting very cold. If fact seems like warm air is blowing in. I unpluged and defrosted the entire unit for 3 days. All ice gone. Pluged back in, Frezzer works fine,(Im sure ice will build up again) but refer side is just not old like it should be? Paid a guy to come out and look and he seemed like an idiot. but said the defroster timer is bad? Can find that part. What say you. Just not making sense Mike

Is there a video on how to install the control board? I know it is somewhat straightforward, but just wanted to see if there were any tips or tricks on how NOT to screw it up...BTW, my problem is the fridge side is always shutting down, the ice maker also quits, then starts again. Sometimes I hit the northeast top corner (where the control board and timer are) and it starts up, only to die again. TIRED OF HITTING IT.

Have frost buildup in freezer and refrigerator side not cool. Had appliance repair come out and they told me it was the ADC part #W10366605 and would cost $250 just for part. They told me it was located top of refrigerator side. Removed board and typed in part # and it comes up as electronic control board for $85 on your site. Is this the correct part for getting the automatic defrost to work?

I've been having a problem with my freezer where it's not cold enough, causing the ice and its contents to melt. I found that I need to turn off the freezer thermostat for it to work again. I've done this several times already. Can you tell me what the problem is?

Every morning the refrigerator is not working. We have to turn it off with the control knob and turn it back on. I think it is going into defrost cycle but never comes back to normal. Do you think it is the defrost control board?

The refrigerator does not run unless it is on the coldest setting, then it only runs for a little while and shut off. You can bump the setting control and it will come back on. What could be the problem?
