I have a Whirlpool gas range (I'm not home so not sure of the model number) about 12 years old that has some nicks in the white porcelain top. I have bought two "recommended" products listed as "high heat porcelain touch up paint" from other sources. Both products were recommended by professionals as being for Whirlpool gas ranges. The paint matches exactly when it goes on, and then after 2-3 burner uses, the painted area turns brown as if scorched. It now looks worse than when I hadn't done anything. Can you tell me if this item 511873 is the right paint and will not turn brown?

We have a whirlpool stove with smooth cooktop and oven. The silver panel behind the control knobs needs to be replaced from wear and tear and the top of the control panel needs to be repainted. Is there a way to replace the control panel and can you used touch up (black) paint to paint the top?

The bottom part of part of the AP3177471 Control Panel on my Whirlpool SF379LEKQ in white got burn and the paint came off because my wok rested against it while cooking. Unfortunately the part is discontinued, but even so, I only need the very bottom part which is held on y 3 screws. Because this part may need some heat resistance, should I be using the Whirlpool 511873 porcelain paint or is the acrylic paint the proper paint for that part?

My toilet bowl (inside)has some scratches on it. Can this paint be used to hide the scratches and "repaint" it white? I'd obviously have to drain the toilet, let it dry and then paint. Will this work?

I need touch up paint for the rim around the stove top itself. It has quite a bit of paint missing. A small touch up container would work but this stove must be around 15 years old, so I'm not sure if the white paint is still the same? Please recommend. Thanks.

My Whirlpool Gas Range (465 Supr Capacity) has some nicks on the stovetop area from falling items. The nicks are no bigger than 1/2 of a dime, and I'm wondering which of the touch up paints to purchase. The porcelain white looks good, but I also love the price on the little bottle/ white with a brush. Would either option be okay for the stove top.
