This washer has been making loud squealing and some grinding noises, doesn't do it all the time. Now it's leaking a little bit at the center is what it looks like after pulling the front panel off. Everything I read points to replacing the bearing, would that be the clutch assembly?

I have a Maytag Neptune TL washer that will not advance from the wash cycle to the rinse cycle. It will go start agitating and then pause, then start up again with the timer getting stuck at 23 minutes.

I am trying to repair my maytag washer. It's having issues during the spin cycle. With no cloths in it, it will spin for a short time then stop. It will do that about three times and the I get a UC code on the display. What I've learned so far is it could be one of three things. The drain pump, clutch assembly or the tub sensor. Is there a way to tell which is the problem? Or is it a common problem that u can tell me what to replace? Thanks for any help u can give me. Justin

Have a tl serial number starts with 16. Bought the clutch and replaced it along with the tub seal. Clutch came with the top white bearing that is separate from the pulley. When I took off the pulley it does not have the top bearing that came with the new clutch. I could not see a way to use that new bearing on the old tub. Am I correct on leaving it off?

I have a series 11 Neptune TL. It's been tripping the LL and UC codes. More the LL code, than UC. I pulled the clutch assembly out, and see that the bearings have a bit of rust. I cannot tell if they are frozen with rust, or if the bearings are not designed to actually spin at all. Are just the inner rollers supposed to move? I am hoping replacing the clutch assembly will resolve the issue, but realize there must be a minor leak if there is rust. What do you recommend?
