Long story short I found my washer with a "ld" code and found that could be something with the drain pump. I tipped the washer, took the drain pump off and put it all back together. Started washer and it would add a little water and then spin without adding water like it normally does. Did a diagnostic mode and saw another code which was f something and I learned that was also a pump issue and maybe a circulation pump. Tipped it again and it did same thing. I then took basin out and found a sock. Did a manual diagnostic and found nothing happens when the circulation pump is supposed to run. My question is, is it likely the pump burned out, possibly because of the sock, or maybe something else entirely. Not a very short story but a $120 pump is a hard maybe fix without a little guidance. Thank you

I have a cracked housing on one of the water pumps that is leaking water but am having a hard time finding a diagram to properly identify the part needed as the drain or recirculation pump. Looking from the rear of the unit, the pump that is cracked is on the bottom left and attaches to the large outer tub. Can you assist me in identifying which pump I need?

I have a Maytag Bravos Top Loading Washer, and it has developed a leak during the spin cycle. At first, I thought it might be coming from the drain pump (I wish it was b/c it would be easy to fix), but after taking the back panel off and watching the machine run, I see that water is thrown from the rotor on the bottom of the wash tub. I had read on your forum about changing the mounting stem & boot seal and tub bearings on a different unit, but there is no such kit for this model. I have checked all of my hose connections, clamps, and pumps, and they are not the source of my water leak. I did find a Tub Seal / Bearing kit (presumably for my washer MFG# W10435302) on another site. Any thoughts on replacing the bearings and tub seal on this washer?
