A few weeks ago our washer gave us a nd code. we drained it and checked all the hoses, we found a little blockage in hose from pump to wall so we cleaned it out. I also checked pump and had no blockage in there. After we replaced all the hoses the washer would run and drain but after it would drain it wouldn't go to next cycle for several minutes so it was taking over two hours for one load. I bought a multimeter to test pressure switch. I found a youtube video to help and if I did it right that switch is fine. I also heard to test the pump with the meter but have found no video to help out in that regard. The drive belt is on pulley and appears in good order. Today we purchased a new pump but before I put it on I found a way to take old one apart and found a lot of grey goop for lack of a better term so we cleaned it and put old one back on. Again washer worked great until drain cycle only this time all we heard was clicks and no draining and as mentioined before it is stuck on 35 min which is first drain cycle but no error code has appeared. We found a site that said timer could be the issue but have found no video to show us how to test timer. I'm sure its pump but before I put new one on I want to make sure its not something cheaper so I can take pump back. Any Ideas?
