My electric oven needs a replacement of radiant surface element, left rear. I was advised to buy Part # 12500038. Is this correct? How do I replace this part? Please advise.

Answer Dorothy, the large left rear element is part number 12002142. Open the oven door and remove the two 1/4" hex head screws that secure the top to the flange located above the oven door. Once the screws are removed grasp the top with both hands and pull the range top forward. Disconnect the multi-pin wiring harness connector, lift top upward and remove the top from the range. Remove the wiring to the burner element and any screws holding the burner in place and install in reverse order. Thanks!
