Please send installation instructions.
There are no instructions available for replacing the PC board. You will simply remove the 3 screws holding the pc board in on each side of the freezer. Once screws are removed then you disconnect the harness and swap the boards over. Reinstall in reverse.
I replaced the ice maker in my whirlpool, now the board shows defective which it wasn't before I replaced the ice maker. The light blinks twice and pauses even when the receiver flap is closed, did I do something wrong?
It does not sound as though you did anything wrong on replacement of the icemaker. Most likely the emitter board was part of the initial problem with the unit and just did not show until a new icemaker was installed.
I have a Whirlpool Gold SxS refrigerator model number GS6SHEXNB00. I need to relace the ice level control board kit. I need to know the location of the control board or PC board, as it is also called. Please help me find out where it is.
Answer Hello! The emitter and receiver located in the PC board kit part number 4389102 are located in the freezer section of your appliance. The emitter is located on the left hand side wall and the receive is located on the right hand side wall. There are covers over each board you'll need to remove to gain access to the part. Thanks.
Where is the board located on an Amana AFD2535?
All I have so far is: located in the freezer liner section of your appliance
Answer Hello Matt. You model number does not use the P.C. board kit. It has a control board in the fresh food section. It is where you adjust the settings of the unit. You must remove the housing from the fresh food part to access and replace the control board.
Water and ice dispenser stopped. Temp. light is still on. Power button works but all other buttons just beep when pushed. this all started when I was flushing out a new water filter. I thought it was that board but it was not. What else could it be?
The first thing that you will want to check is above the left hinge there is a wire harness. You will want to make sure that the wire harness does not have any loose or broken wires. If this checks ok then it sounds like the dispenser control is what would be at fault.
The P.C. Board kits 4389102 keep going bad on my ice maker system. Replaced two times in 30 days. Original one lasted from 2008 to 2011.
Answer Hello Joel. It sounds like the boards are not the issue. You either have another issue causing the no ice, or there is a wiring issue with the wires or connectors for the boards. It is very, very, uncommon for the board to go out that quick.
