Water and ice dispenser stopped. Temp. light is still on. Power button works but all other buttons just beep when pushed. this all started when I was flushing out a new water filter. I thought it was that board but it was not. What else could it be?

Answer DJG,
The first thing that you will want to check is above the left hinge there is a wire harness. You will want to make sure that the wire harness does not have any loose or broken wires. If this checks ok then it sounds like the dispenser control is what would be at fault.
The P.C. Board kits 4389102 keep going bad on my ice maker system. Replaced two times in 30 days. Original one lasted from 2008 to 2011.

Answer Hello Joel. It sounds like the boards are not the issue. You either have another issue causing the no ice, or there is a wiring issue with the wires or connectors for the boards. It is very, very, uncommon for the board to go out that quick.
The unit stop making ice, replaced the water value (W010408179) with no success., or does it take several hours for the unit to start making ice. I was also wondering if the ice maker control switch could be malfunctioning. The red indicator light is blinking, it appears to blink twice with a pause, and blink twice again. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Answer Hello Ron,
With freezer door open you will want to check the sensor light. Close the flapper without the hole being blocked and if the sensor light continues to flash then you will need to replace the emitter board 4389102. If it stays on solid red it is good. If this is the case then pull the icemaker and look for a broken pin in the center of the large gear. If the pin is not broken then you will want to pull the module off and check for burn marks on the back of the module. If there are burn marks you will want to replace icemaker 2198597. If the pin in the gear is broken you will want to replace the icemodule W10190935.
