Yes, My washer is out of balance, the machine is level and the springs looks good, {the machine is 5+years old}. What else could be wrong?

Machine has some age on it. Put in a rug, began spinning, created an out-of-balance clanging. By the time I got to it, the tub seems to have lowered by about 1/2-1 inch. I have not yet taken the machine apart......what should I be looking for once I get there....or will it be obvious? Just looking for a heads-up.

In the spin cycle it seems like the washer is out of balance. It sounds like the tub is hitting something . I have taken the washer apart and found that all the suspension springs and the counter balance spring are still attached. The washer is about 9 years old and wanted to know if it would be possible that the springs are weak? Thanks Ken

Where can I get the spanner wrench used in your videos to disassemble the tub. I have a serious vibration problem while spinning. Springs are in place. I put rubber blocks under the legs which stopped the "walking", but vibration now seems even worse. I'm contemplating replacing the suspension pads and wear pads. Suggestions?

The balance ring is filled with a liquid. Is it water, is it totally filled or half? Does the liquid ever leak out?

I removed and replaced the balance ring onto the spin basket. I did not mark the original placement of the ring on the spin drum. Will this cause an out of balance condition? Also, the balance ring is about 25% full of water. Is the water suppose to be sloshing around in the balance ring?
