Unit leaks from bottom. I checked hose connections, and they are tight. It appears that leak is coming from center of unit on bottom. Attempted to remove allen screw from center of bottom finned cap. Unable to remove screw, as at a certain point, screw will spin, but not come out. Please advise.

During the spin cycle we are hearing a screetching noise, especially during large load spin. I thought that it might be a clutch slipping but don't see anything on the parts list that looks like a clutch. Could it be a bearing going out? Any ideas would be appreciated.
