Can you tell me if a ccu board and wireing off of a whirlpool duet GHW9100LW1 will fit my whirlpool duet GHW9150PW1 Can you help me ?
Answer Hello Debbie! The wiring harness 8181783 is the same for both models, however, the CCU's are different and will not be interchangeable. For model GHW9100LW1 you will need 8182221. For model GHW9150PW1 you will need 8182695. Thanks!

When replacing one shock absorber in my Whirlpool Duet HT Washer, Do I Need to replace all of them or just the one, which broke from the anchor.
You will want to replace all the shock absorbers in your unit at the same time. If one is broken then the others are most likely faulty as well.
The washer is very noisy specially during the spin cycle what is the most likely part that I will need to change before I open the washer up? what are the most common parts needed to remedy this type of symptom?
Answer Johnny King Kong,
In most cases when the unit is noisy during the spin cycle you will have a grinding noise or it will sound like the unit is taking off. If this is the case then the rear tub bearing would be the issue and you would need the outer rear tub 280251 of the washer.
I have a whirlpool duet. Where do I locate the model number?
The model number will be on the frame of the unit when you open the door. There will be a model/serial tag.
Washer is banging in high spin only. The tub seems tight with no play. Shock absorbers on tub visually look ok. I have not pulled them to check for ware. Not sure where to start.
Answer Hello Scott. Check and see if the inner basket is loose on the unit. Also, if it is good, check all the shocks for cracks. If the shocks are good, check the counter weights on the unit.
