Can I just bypass the syphon break by clamping a connector between the two hoses?
Answer Hi Jimbeau. You can try as long as the drain water does not back up on you. There has to be a air "break opening" in order to let air in when the drain is in progress. The Siphon break is part # 206638. The gasket is a separate part # 214765. Thank You.
water coming out the top of the siphon break. does this mean i need to rplace this part or just clean discharge hose
Answer Oscar, You need to take care of both, Clean the discharge/drain pipe, and repalce the syphon break. The interior plunger has been damaged and is not sealing and allowing the water to bypass, and leak out the top. Good Luck and Thanks
