I recently ordered part #208847. I broke off the drain elbow coming out of the back of the washer (small part of it is still sticking out). It seems that this part that I ordered goes on with a twist lock motion, as it has tabs! But the remaining part on the washer has (4) screws holding it in place, and the only way to connect the new, with the old is to remove the screws, and disconnect the broken part that is still connected to the part inside the machine. How do I open the back of the machine to get at the parts? Is there a video showing the repair process?

I have a 70s series kenmore that doesnt pump all the water out after wash cycle. When it spins it throws water out top of tub 3quarter in exhust drain. Is it that the drain is not big enough or timer worn out? There seams to be good pump pressure.
