I removed belt and hand turned thrust bearing by hand. It turns freely, but you have to turn it about 1/2 turn before it grabs. Is there a problem?

Hi, My 8 year old washing machine crewed up the snubber ring. I replaced it and again see white shavings. I'm going to change out all 6 springs and install a new snubber this weekend. What could be the cause of snubber ring failure? Thanks

The washer has a lot of vibration and moves all over during the spin cycle. The floor and machine are all level, could this be a bad snubber? The current one has a lot of shavings, but appears intact.

I need to replace the Snubber Ring but according to the Diagrams, this Washer has 2 of them (1 on the Base Diagram & 1 on the Transmission Diagram under the Brake). Therefore, do I need to order 1 or 2 Snubber Ring(s)?
