My igniter for the oven is sparking, my gas valve is humming and my oven will not light. The stove top lights fine. Do I need this igniter board or the control board?

Hello, I am hoping you can help me with a problem I am having with my Whirlpool Gas range. When I was cook at 400 degrees I received an error code E2 F3 which I was told was the oven sensor so I replaced that. Once replaced while cooking I noticed the broiler would click on during baking mode. I was then told it was a bad control board. I took the control board out and had it manufactured. Put that back in and still have the broiler problem. It will preheat just fine. The problem is when it clicks back on to keep the temperature even the broiler clicks and lights up then it clicks below and that lights the broiler clicks off.

My Whirlpool Accubake oven is having problems staying lit - lower bake burner only. It will light, igniting the gas fine, but the igniter keeps clicking, and after about 5 seconds will stop and the gas will shut off. The broiler works fine and will stay lit. Top burners are fine too. Any idea what is wrong?

The BAKE igniter stopped working on my oven. It's a bit over a year old. I hear a clicking and don't see a spark on the BAKE igniter. Under further investigation, I actually see the BROIL igniter sparking when I choose BAKE thus the clicking. (BROIL function and top burners work fine) I tried 2 OEM replacement BAKE igniters from another distributer and the problem persisted. I just ordered the W10331686 and swapped it out to find the same result. I have not yet checked the voltage on the gas valve. Where should I go from here? Could I have gotten 2 bad igniters? Thanks, Jim.

The top burners will not ignite when knobs are turned to light. There is no clicking sound. Inside oven works fine.

I have a whirlpool stove that ignites all the burners including the broiler but not the oven. I cleaned the igniter and it worked a few tests then stopped. So I replaced the igniter and got the same result, it ignited a few times then quit reigniting in the middle of cooking something. I can definitely smell gas when it tries to ignite so I’m assuming the gas valve is working. I also hear the clicking when it tries to ignite. Dose the spark module malfunction in this way? I wanted to get an opinion before I spent the money for a new one.

The bake burner in the oven is the only one that's affected. The oven might come on then goes out or it may not light at all. The burners and the broiler are working fine. Does each surface burner and the two burners in the oven all work independently from different parts of the spark module?

My KA gas stove sparks and lights for the stove top, but nothing for the oven except for the element. Repairman stated it would cost over $1000 as both spark module and control board could be problem and he recommends changing both as they "both usually go at same time?". Am I being taken in? Why is the stove top sparking and lighting if the spark module is the problem? Why should the control board be affected too?
