My washer will not spin, everything else is ok. I found that one of the prongs of the spin tube thrust washer is broken, coul that be the cause of the no spin condition.

Answer Paul, You will need to remove the cabinet, pump, motor, and agitator and spin tub "block". Answer Hello Kathy. Check the lid switch assembly 3949247 and see if it is bad. If so, it can prevent the washer from spinning out. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
