This dryer was converted from Natural gas to LP. We are now converting to natural gas and I need to convert this unit back to Natural gas. Is there a kit for this?
Answer Hello! No, the manufacturer does not offer a kit. To convert back to NG you'll need to order the orifice part number 234826, limiter part number 694424, regulator part number 694423, and regulator spring part number 694422. Thanks!
HELLO I CONVERTED MY DRYER FROM LP TO NG WITH NEW PARTS #AP3081254,AP3135346 AND AP2912713.FIRST REMOVING THE LP REG.CAP AND WHITE PIN ASSEMBLY. HOW FAR DOWN DO I SCREW THE WHITE LIMITER; AND DO I USE PART # AP3081255 SPRING ?
Answer Len, First, you're going to replace the burner origfice 15418 Then unscrew the regulator cap, and remove the white plastic pin and spring. Put the parts in a bag and label it . install the spring 694422 then the regulator 694423 then the cap 694424.You will not be using the white pin again. All these fittings are soft brass and do not need to tightened more than hand tight and check for leaks with soapy water, once the gas is supplied to the valve. Thanks and Good Luck
