My whirlpool is no longer cooling, no frost build-up anywhere, everything is clean. Both fans work great. I hear a click by the compressor (assuming that is the relay clicking) and the compressors humms for 5-10sec and clicks off. The resistance on the compressor was 4,6, and 10ohms. I'm not sure how to test the relay. There is continuity through the top two inlets with the outlet portion of the other side, and the bottom inlet through the bottom outlet of the relay. Where do I go from here?

The ice maker makes ice. the water dispenser does not work. The model appears to be for 2010. I purchased the model from someone who moved. I don't know if the water was working. I removed the external water filter. I tried with and without the filter. No water either way. your help and information is greatly appreciated.

My refrigerator quite cooling. I can hear the compressor start and then kick out within seconds. Would the start device combination correct the problem or do you think the compressor is bad?

I bought the relay/overload start device combo and I have a question...There are only 2 visible places on this new start device to attach the wires that are coming from my fridge. Which ones do I use? From the fridge, I have 1 black (or dk blue)wire, and then another clip/connector with a combo of a white and 2 black (or dk blue)wires going to the old relay. The old relay plugged onto 2(bottom) of the 3 posts of the compressor. The top post of the compressor has a black wire connected that goes to the overload. There is also an orange wire going to a connector on the overload and a dk blue wire going to a separate connector on the overload. which ones go where?

Need to know how to disconnect relay and overload kit(W10189190) from compressor to check for burn marks or rattling from what I have read, dont want to break it trying to take pieces off in wrong order. problem fridge runs but does not get cold on either side, can hear compressor kick on and a few seconds later turn off, no other apparent problems
