Hello Last night my dryer work great and today it wont start.....
Answer Hello Jason. You will want to check the door switch and the thermal fuse and see if they are bad and needs to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
The cycle setting is only working in one spot. I hear the timing ticking but the rest of the settings wont work.
Answer Hello Trent. If the timer is only working in one spot, you will need to to order and replace the timer 3979617 on the unit.
When I push the start button, it doesn't spring back like it use to. But I move the cycle knob to a certain spot I get it to start, but sometimes it quits after a few seconds. Sometimes it will finish the cycle. What you think?
Answer Hello TQuinn. The start switch will need to be replaced if it is sticking. As for the running and shutting off, you may be dealing with a bad motor on the unit. If it is getting hot and shutting down, you will need to replace the motor.
dryer will not start, is getting power, no elecrtical oders, any sugestions?
Answer Jim, the most likely issue is an "open" thermal fuse 3392519 on the blue wire, it's mounted on the blower housing and opens in the event of a heating issue. You'll need to check the door switch circuit (com to NO should be a "closed" circuit when the switch plunger is pressed in or the door is closed)and the timer should have a "momentary closed circuit, when the dial is pressed in between the BK(black) terminal and the BU(blue) terminal of the timer.
