When the start switch is pressed sometimes you have to hit the right spot for the sound of the igniter coming on.If the right spot isn't hit the dryer will run but it will not be hot enough to dry the clothes.

When I push the start button, it doesn't spring back like it use to. But I move the cycle knob to a certain spot I get it to start, but sometimes it quits after a few seconds. Sometimes it will finish the cycle. What you think?

My dryer finished its cycle and the buzzer went off but didn't stop buzzing until I opened the door. The next time I went to use the dryer it wouldn't turn on. It makes a noise like it has power. I checked the start switch with an ohmmeter, it read 60 before I pushed the button and then 30 with it pushed in. The back of the dryer has a burnt smell. Does that sound like a start switch? Thanks.
