Water is leaking around the door seal gasket on at the bottom left. Can you give me the correct part number?
Answer Hello Roger. Check the spray arms to make sure they are in good condition and not plugged up. Uneven spray can cause a door leak. If everything looks good then you may need to replace the door seal Part# W10542314
My gasket/strike is worn down. How do I install the replacement so that it works properly and does not tear?
Answer Hello Lisa. The door seal part # W10542314 is applied with the widest (sides ribbed) in first. This will insure holding. You will need to center the gasket and make sure both lt. and rt. ends match any length or gap to the bottom of the tub for a reference point. It is normal that it takes a dozen times of operating to get it "worn-in" again. You will get used to using both hands to open and close initially.
Is this the correct door seal for the dishwasher Whirlpool DU1055XTVQ1? Thank you.
Answer Eileen, according to your model the door gasket W10542314 is the correct replacement and will work on your dishwasher. Thanks!
My old dishwasher door gasket is torn. What is the procedure to replace the old gasket with a new one part # AP5650274.
To replace the door gasket, you just pull the old one out and take the new one in the center and push into place.
