Washer is less than 2years old and has started making aloud rattling noise when spinning along with what sounds like a vibration grinding noise !!
With the grinding noise, the issue sounds like it would be caused by a bad bearing on the tub. If the tub is banging around then there could also be an issue of the tub support being faulty.
Hi, does this part work for model #WFW8400TW02?
This part W10202464 is the tub support for the inner tub. It attaches to the back of the inner tub and the shaft goes through the tub bearing and the pulley attaches to it. The belt then goes on and attaches to the motor and when the unit is agitating or spinning it is turning the pulley which also turns the tub. Unfortunately the support cannot be gotten separately any longer and the inner tub 8540357 would have to be replaced.
Do you have a spider bracket to fit model number GHW9150PW0? thanks jimmy
Answer Hello Jimmy. You will need the basket assembly for the spider. Not available separately.
When replacing the basket support, is there a specific torque spec for the pulley nut when reinstalling?
Answer Jason, No there is no specific torque specification for the spinner shaft nut. A little "Loctite" and 30 to 35 ft.lbs. of torque, should be more than adequate.
