I've had this new Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum WTW8600YWO for 6 weeks now. Sometimes it drips water on the floor from in the washer left side. Water splashes on the side of the drum and the inside walls of the washer. The warranty service technician lifted the top open and says some springs are missing that secure the drum to the frame base. He checked and he is coming to install them in 2 days. How can there be springs missing when this is new. The factory quality assurance must be realy bad. Was this made on a friday afternoon holiday weekend at the factory?

Could you tell me how many suspension or balance springs our washer model is supposed to have? And where are they located? Seems my tub is out of balance as it leans to one side. Thank you very much for your time.

I had to take apart my washer after I lost the spin cycle. This website has been immensely helpful! Since I put it back together the tub leans toward the motor and bangs during spin cycle. I had spring bracket AP2905281 in back which is wrong, the diagram shows it should be on the left side. The diagram shows spring bracket AP2915495 in back and one on the right side. It also shows the counter balance spring AP4459650 attaches to this bracket in back, it does not. I drilled a hole in the bracket to attach the counter balance spring, because I don't remember how it attach before, and the tub still leans toward the motor. I'm stumped. Should I replace all 4 springs?
