Will not start. Lights flashing on door. All conection are good.
Answer Hello John. You will need to test the door switch and see if it is bad. When the door closes, the switches should make up. Test the switch with the power off to the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

The start button not working.
Answer Hello Bill. You will need to order and replace the control panel on the unit.
The "clean " light is flashing and dishwasher will not start.
Answer Hello Philley,
When the clean light flashes it can only mean one of two things. It can mean that a button is stuck and the control panel is in need of replacement or it can mean that the heating circuit has failed. The way to tell which has happened is that if the heating circuit has failed, the clean light will flash seven times with a pause and then flash seven times with a pause, etc. If this is the case, you need to troubleshoot the heating circuit. There are five components: the heating element, the high limit thermostat, the door switch, the control, and the wiring harness.
There should be a tech sheet behind the kick panel which will show the wiring diagram. This should enable you to shoot through the circuit with an ohm meter. If it reads open from the control board, you will need to test each component individually. I have found that if the unit is solidly mounted under the counter top and is properly leveled, the heating element is the most common part to fail.
Normal Mode light blinks. I reset control panel and works for a while then stops and Normal Mode light blinks again?
Answer Hello Richard. Based on the information you provided, you will need to order and replace the control panel 3385741 on the unit.
Will not start, no lights on panels, check the power its ok by using tester on the outlet.
Answer Noel, If you have power at the outlet, your next check is at the electrical junction box on the frame of the dishwasher, behind the lower access panel and kick plate. Remove the cover and check to make sure the wire connections have not come loose or are discolored or damaged. If all's OK, you'll want to remove the inner door liner, and check the control panel thermal fuse W10258275 If it opens, it will remove power to the control board and the dishwasher will not operate and the lights will not illuminate.
The door has trouble latching but when it does the lights for cycles come on but the unit does not operate. The outside handle seems to be stuck sometimes and doesn't release
This issue sounds like it is being caused by a faulty door latch assembly and handle not making proper contact to latch. This will also have to do with the switches not making contact.
The quick rinse light flashes red on my control panel (randomly) when the door is latched and unlatched - the machine will not run. If I unplug and replug the ribbon to the electronic control it stops the flashing light and the machine will then run - which part would be causing this issue - the control panel or the electronic control ?
Answer Barbara, You'll want to start by checking or replacing the control panel / key pad assembly 8269819. STUCK KEY: If the control detects that a key is stuck in the depressed position, dishwasher operation will be suspended and the control will flash the light for that key until the condition is corrected. If a key without a light is stuck or multiple keys are stuck, the control will flash the light for the Rinse Only/Quick
The door does not close all the way, is like the latch is worn out. Could you tell me what is the part I need?
Answer Ana Maria, If the latch is the issue, you'll want to replace the door latch assembly 8193830, and the revised strike assembly 8574157 on the tub frame.
