Will not fill with water.
Answer Hello Jim,
If you read any resistance in the water level switch, (pressure switch),with the machine empty, it will need to be replaced. If the reading drops to zero when the hose is removed, blow back into the tub through this hose to clear any possible clogs. This design also has a fuse in line with the water valves. There could also be a lid switch, timer, or water valve issue. These will have to be tested.
The fuse is blown and it appears to be a 4 amp fuse. Is the fuse size indeed 4 amp?
Answer Hello Mike. Yes, when the fuse blows the manufacturer recommends replacing the lid switch assembly with the fuse.
My washing machine fills up with water but won't start agitating or make any sound. Any idea??
You will want to check the lid switch on the unit, part number 22001682, to ensure that it is good. If the lid switch is not operating properly then it will cause the unit to not spin or agitate.
Hi, we are trying to get the fuze number. Our machine won't do anything and we are wondering if the fuze may be the problem.
In order to get the fuse for the washer you would need to get the lid switch assembly. The fuse is a 120 vac 10 amp fuse and comes with the lid switch assembly 22001682.
Was in the middle of washing, lifted the lid to add more to the load and washer stopped, no noise at all. Will not drain, or agitate, will not add water, I used a wet vac and removed a couple of gallons of water. It will fill or add water, but will not agitate at all. Again no noise, can it be the washer lid switch, the fuse looks fine? I believe it is in the switch lid, do you know what the fuse size is? thanks. Bill
Answer Hello Zegota. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the lid switch assembly 22001682 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
Admiral drains but won't spin, turns a few turns then stops motor still turning.AF
The issue could be caused by a bad brake but with out a good model number we would not be able to assist properly. Please double check the model number of the washer. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
