From previous answers I think the sensor switch is bad. When I remove the air tube at the sensor and blow into it, should I feel pressure? It free airs. Thanks.
Answer Hello Bob. These have very little resistance. There is no need to blow into these. If the unit is agitating, and not filling, then this part is bad in the unit.
We have Maytag front load washer machine Neptune model #mah6500aww and will not drain. nd indicator lights up on control panel. How to fix? savfam1
Answer Hello Tom,
You will need to open the unit and remove the hoses from the pump to ensure no clogs are present. If not, the drain pump 25001052 will require replacement.
Washer will not fill up with water but still runs as normal without the water - wondering if it is the auto fill switch and can I replace it myself?
Answer Hello Sonya. Yes, you will need to replace the sensor switch W10292584. These are easy to replace. Access the inside of the control panel with the power off. Then pull off the knob and unplug wires going to the switch and the hose. Pull upward on the locking tab and twist to remove.
