Need whatever to fix the Error code SUDS then F35. Was told it was a Analog Steam Switch?
Answer Hello Tracy. Based on the errors provided, you will need to replace the pressure switch on the unit.
My maytag will wash fine but on the spin cycle after it drains it will not spin then smoke comes off motor. Belts are new.
Can you help. Is it a motor capacitor? Just a long shot?
Answer Jumper, Your washer wouldn't have a motor capacitor. Your most likely issue is a seized tub bearing 6-2040130. Once the bearing seizes to the race / sleeve on the transmission case, the motor cannot drive the spin basket, and the motor and or belt can smoke. To repair the washer you'll need the tub bearing assembly, the tub mounting stem 6-2095720, the spanner wrench TJ90TB123A, and check the new belt for damage.
I started my washer and nothing happened. It didn't fill the tub with water. I checked power to the solenoid valve with meter and there was no power. What part should I get ?
Answer Hello Troy,
Without a model number we would not know if you have a control board issue or timer. The water valve will receive signal for power on one or the other. To properly assist you we will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
Washer starts to spin before adding water. Next it over fills and spins while overflowing on to floor. I purchased a w10292584 softener switch from Appliancepartspros, installed it, still the same problem. What's next?
Answer William, Did you also check the air hose from the sensor switch to the air bell on the side of the tub. Check and make sure it's not twisted or kinked. When you disconnect the hose from the switch, blow in the end of the hose, to clear any possible debris or clogs, in the tube. If all's OK, check the wiring between the sensor switch and timer control W10104800. If the wiring and connections are proper and tight, replace the control.
