No hot water, good flow, clean screen. When I unplug the water valves and criss cross them, I do get hot when I push the cold selection proving that the valve works.
Am I right in assuming it's the control board?
Answer Bob, Yes, you've confirmed the hot water solenoid is in tact and operates. Assuming the control board is at fault is a good guess, but, you may want to check and verify, that the orange wire from the hot water solenoid to the P7 pin 1 connector on the control board isn't broken, damaged or loose first.
Water occasionally continues to fill the tub after a wash and I have to turn off faucets to get it to stop. Yesterday while washing, the tub overfilled and water was running out the front door. I think it is probably the water inlet valve but is there another likely cause?
Answer Bill, Yes, based on your post description and information, you will want or need to replace the water valve 22003834 The fill valve is "seaping" and allowwing the washer to fill when the valve is closed. The fill valve replacement will most likely solve both the issues you had(overfilling), if not you'll want to remove and separate the pressure switch from the drain pump assembly and check to make sure there's no debris clogging the air opening in the bottom of the pressure switch cap 22003268.
Cold water not working, only hot water.
Answer Hello Cindy. Make sure the screens are not clogged. If not, you will need to order and replace the water valve 22003834 on the unit.
When the washer is completely shut off . Over night.
