Broiler element was not heating so I replaced the element but still not heating. Baking element heats up just fine, my son says it could be the thermal fuse is this possible? Thank you.
Answer Hello Sandra! Yes, the thermal fuse 3196548 can be at fault. You can test this with a multi meter, it should read closed for continuity. If the thermal fuse is good, you'll need to replace the control part number 6610316. Thanks.
both broiler and bake elements will not heat on a whirlpool electric free stand self clean purchased new 2009. not sure what needs to be changed? Thanks for your time, doug
Answer Hello Doug! You will want to make sure the breaker for the range is flipped on first. If your top burners are working but both the bake and broil burners are not coming on, you will more than likely need to replace W10108090. Thanks!
