Lights dont work on control except for the lock light.
Answer Hello Bill! Is the control pad locked? Press and hold HEATED DRY for 5 seconds until the light turns off. This should help. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. How do I get the fuse unclipped from the control board? Bob
Answer Hello Bob. The fuse 675813 is held onto the control board with tabs. You will need to release the tabs and pull the old fuse off. Then clip the new fuse onto the control board and replace the wires. Hope this helps.
I have the thermal fuse (ap3115186) how do I get it out of the control board? Also, the instruction sheet does not tell me this information. What part is the console ? Thanks!
Answer Hi Bob. The thermal fuse is located in the control panel on the back of the circuit board. The control panel is on top of the door where you press for commands. You will need to take the screws from the inside of the door out to access the panel circuit board. The thermal fuse is clipped in place on the board housing. Make sure that you use the wiring harness that may come with the fuse kit part # 675813. Thank you.
How do I check the fuse with an ohm meter?
Answer Hello Bob. You will check the fuse 675813 for continuity. It should read closed if it is good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
When I replace the thermal fuse in my dishwasher, does the electricity need to be off? And, do all wires from the fuse and wiring assembly connect inside the door ? Bob
Answer Hello Bob. Yes, you will need to disconnect the power to the dishwasher before replacing the fuse 675813. The wires for the fuse are inside the door panel. Hope this helps.
Where is the thermal fuse located? My control panel was acting funny prior to the dishwasher stopping, prior to draining. Now the whole unit is dead. Could it be as simple as the thermal fuse? Bob
Answer Hello Bob. The thermal fuse is located inside the control panel. You will need to remove the inner door panel and the control box cover to access and replace the thermal fuse 675813. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the thermal fuse is the problem. Be sure and change the wires sent with the thermal fuse. Hope this helps.
