Refrigerator will run until temperature setting is satisfied. It will not come back on until I increase to a cooler setting. It will recycle sometimes and then not until I increase to a colder setting again. I think it is the temperature control. Am I correct?

can thermostat be tested for continuity with ohmeter or anything else ,if so how.I have replaced control unit evap. coils still freezing up.I tested defrost heater and bi-metal thermostat for continuity, and both look good.I'm thinking it almost has to be thermostat. What do you think?

I'm pretty sure it's my thermostat that's busted. I just don't know how to get the control panel open. There are two main screws I can remove. But, those aren't the only one. Something on the inside also needs to be removed. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-10656999601/0582/0165000/K0609005/00009?blt=06&prst=0&shdMod=10656999601 This is the part I need help getting into.
