My oven was getting to hot. When set to 350°F it would heat to around 500°F. I replaced the thermostat and it is still getting to hot. Any other ideas? Is this thermostat adjustable? Thank You
Answer Hello Tony,
If the new thermostat is operating correctly, since the knob is not adjustable, the next suspect would be a sticking gas valve, (for serial numbers beginning with 10 or below 74002387 or with serial numbers starting with 11 or higher 74006281.
I need a picture to show how to put back in oven.
Answer Hello Debbie. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
My gas oven will only reach around 200 degrees max.

How hard is the removal and installation of the thermostat on this stove?
